Averting Climate Catastrophe Together addresses the necessity of meeting the Paris Agreement temperature target and explores what framework could enable climate action in an effective, efficient and equitable manner that is consistent with that goal. It also looks at the contribution of technological change within the economic system, including the feasibility of a global energy transition. Martin Zapf conducts interdisciplinary research on energy transition and climate change. In recent years, he has published several books and papers in this regard and carried out a research project via the Bavarian Academic Forum (BayWISS) at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts as well as Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).
